Oct, 11 - OCC hosted another great SHOS distribution. The originator of SHOS, the EOPS Honors Club, was able to hand out over 500 lbs of food and several bags of clothing, school supplies and more. They also connected a couple homeless students with community resources.
May, 11 - Irvine Valley Colleg had there annual resource fair and SHOS coupled with the incredible EOPS dept to give more than 75 small bags of groceries and hundreds of lbs of clothing, shoes, and hygiene to families on that campus.
March, 11 - OCC group was fantastic as usual in getting over 100 bags of groceries and many many bags of clothing and more to students showing up for a little help.
December, 10 - SHOS coupled with The Sled Shed in Orange to do a toy drive for families that attend school and struggle during the holidays to get toys for their kids. On a rainy day it was a great turnout!
November 20, 10 - Fishbowl Marathon came off with a few hiccups and a good profit for more resources to the students. Thanks to all the volunteers, runners, and sponsors. http://www.fishbowlmarathon.com/
November 10 - SHOS for a second time at Irvine Valley College was great. A fantastic campus with incredible people. A massive amount of clothing given away to the smaller campus.
November 10 - CSUF Irvine rains the passion again. What an amazing group of people. So much food and clothing that there was some left over to share with Irvine Valley College.
Sept 29, 10 - SHOS at CSUF Irvine Campus shows again that students want to help. Great donations came in and several students were able to pick up food and clothing.
May 8, 10- SHOS did a "Caring Out" day at Irvine Valley College for the 1st time during their annual Resource Fair. Hundreds of bags of clothing and hundreds of bags of food was distributed. Great work everyone

Dec, 9, 09 - Irvine campus distributed 40 more bags of groceries to 40 students and handed out another 20 bags of clothes and more.
Nov, 09 - SHOS OCC handed out more than 1500 lbs. of food, connected students to off campus agencies, and gave more than 100 bags of basic needs to over 150 students.
Nov, 09 - Caring SHOS donated over 700 lbs of fruit and vegetables to Fullerton Jr. College's Ethnic Studies Dept. and M.E.Ch. A. for needy families on Thanksgiving.
Nov, 5, 09 - 1st Caring Out distribution at CSUF Irine went off with about 400 lbs of food and several bags of clothing to almost 40 students.

Sept, 09 - "Cash for Students" had hundreds of students dropping their name into a raffle for a 5 hour, $10/hour job.
Sept, 09 - "How Can We Help You?" campaign brought in hundreds of issues that students need help with.
July, 09 - Funding for a new scholarship to assist students in need has begun and will be given out yearly.
July, 09 - A large grant to the Dept. of Ed. went out this month to expand SHOS to other campuses as well as expand our services. Wish us good luck.

May 29, 09 - Caring S.H.O.S. officially becomes Caring S.H.O.S., Inc.
May, 09 - Last 3 weeks of semester at CSUF distributed 500 lbs of food to 50 + students and 20 + bags of clothing and necessities.
May, 09 - Received letter from President of all Coast Community College's Board stating his congratulations on the success of the program.

April, 09 - New volunteers, OCC location, over 2 tons of food given to over 400 students! About 90 bags of clothing to assist students in need.
April, 09 - Care S.H.O.S. has a name change, to Caring S.H.O.S.
March, 09 - Again, over 100 students served and almost 2800 lbs of food. Donated clothing and more was again very popular.
Oct. 08 - We were able to handout over 2500 lbs. of food and much in clothing, toys, and more, helping out more than 100 students.
March, 08 - 1st event allowed for us to assist 120 students in receiving over 2000 lbs. of food, lots in clothing, toys, books, and more.

Orange coast college: October 21st and 28th we are handing out food, clothing & more in the student center
CSUF Main campus: hoping to reconnect with a group on campus to do shos for the csuf students.
CSUF irvine campus: this campus will continue to support shos via clothing and food drives as well as fundraising.
